- Our noble Messenger spoke to us about the virtue of Surah Quresh, saying: “On the authority of the Prophet – may God bless him and grant him peace – he said: ‘To acquaint the Quraish* is to acquaint them with the journey of winter and summer.’ And he rules, ‘O Quraish, worship your Lord, who has fed you from hunger and protected you from fear.’”
- He also mentioned on the authority of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he said, “God favored the Quraysh with seven qualities. He favored them because they worshiped God for ten years. No one worships God except the Quraysh. He favored them because they helped them on the Day of the Elephant while they were polytheists.
