Benefits
On the authority of Abu Abdullah, peace be upon him, he said: Whoever is addicted to reading: (Has the hadith of Al-Ghashiya reached you) [Al-Ghashiya: 11] in an obligatory or voluntary prayer, Allah will cover him with His mercy in this world and the hereafter, and will grant him security on the Day of Resurrection from the torment of the Fire.
The Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, said: “Whoever is addicted to reading it, Allah will give him an easy reckoning, and whoever recites it to a newborn or has it written for him, whether human or animal, it will calm him down and calm him.”
Al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, said: “Whoever recites Surah Ghashiya over a tooth will suffer pain and bruises, Allah Almighty willing, and whoever recites it over what he eats will be safe from what is in it, and Allah will grant him safety in it.”
