Allah Almighty began this noble Surah with the oath at the time of dawn and the first ten nights of Dhul Hijjah, to indicate the greatness of what He swore by, Glory be to Him.

Allah mentioned the conditions of people and the way they behave in times of wealth and times of poverty, and mentioned some of their conditions on the Day of Resurrection.

He also mentioned the condition and description of the miser, which is his intense love for money, preventing him from giving alms to the poor and needy, and consuming the orphan’s money without fear of Allah.
